As part of the application process for the Visual Communication course at the Berlin University of the Arts, I was asked to create a work on the two words “power” and “courage”. These terms can be interpreted in many different ways, as everyone has their own idea of their meaning. In my video, I present different interpretations of these words. What does it mean to be courageous? Are “power” and “courage” in harmony with each other, or does one of the terms dominate?

Im Rahmen des Bewerbungsverfahrens für den Studiengang Visuelle Kommunikation an der Universität der Künste Berlin wurde ich gebeten, eine Arbeit zu den beiden Wörtern „Macht“ und „Mut“ zu entwerfen. Diese Begriffe können auf vielfältige Weise interpretiert werden, da jeder eine eigene Vorstellung von ihrer Bedeutung hat. In meinem Video präsentiere ich verschiedene Interpretationen dieser Worte. Was bedeutet es, mutig zu sein? Stehen „Macht“ und „Mut“ im Einklang miteinander, oder dominiert einer der Begriffe?
